Our Cedar log stair railings are hand peeled and made from Eastern White Cedar. The rail length is fully adjustable on the job site to fit any stairway. Railings have pre-drilled mortise inserts for the tenoned spindles, which makes assembly easy. To adjust rail lengths on site, simply cut the 2 7/8″ top and bottom rails to the desired length, and insert the rail into the 2 7/8″ mortise in the posts. These rails are custom made to match the angle of your stairway, so please order well in advance. We sometimes need 4 – 8 weeks to make these railings depending on our current workload.
We stock 37 degree stair rails, which are very common, and they can easily be modified to work on stairs ranging from 36 – 38 degrees. All other angles are made to order and take 4 – 8 weeks to ship.
